VOLUNTEER TODAY

Volunteer at Capital Arts

We need you!

Capital Arts is a volunteer-based organization. We rely on our dedicated volunteers to keep the doors open. We currently have enough volunteers to keep our gallery open Thursday, Friday and Saturdays for limited hours. With your help, we can change that! Volunteering for a non-profit like Capital Arts is a great way to get involved in your community. Not only is it a great way to help others, but it can add to your professional resume or even help with college applications (for our younger volunteers!)

Capital Arts welcomes volunteers of all ages! Bring a friend or family member to keep you company! Bring a book! You can even bring your own art to work on, or simply spend the time admiring the many pieces on display at any given time. You can volunteer as little as two hours each month...it adds up! The bottom line is without the support of our dedicated volunteers, Capital Arts can't realize it's mission to support and promote art within the community.

Help us support and encourage local arts by becoming a volunteer today! Signing up is quick and easy!

Volunteer opportunities abound at Capital Arts. Please provide us with information about you using the form linked here.  A volunteer coordinator will be in touch soon. If you have specific questions, please feel free to call (573) 635-8355 or email artsadmin@capitalarts.org.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering to further the mission of Capital Arts.

One volunteer makes a difference!

In The
Gallery

We rely on our team of dedicated volunteers to keep the gallery open to the public. Without our gallery, the many artists we work with wouldn't be able to reach their audience through either the exhibitions or the shop

In The
Studios

We're on a mission...one that encourages and promotes the arts in our community! One way we do this is through our Imagination Station and Community Ceramics Studio. Without volunteers, these spaces would be unavailable to the public.

In The
Community

Oftentimes, Capital Arts has a presence at community events and celebrations. Whether we are doing live art demonstrations, leading a community art projector simply running a market booth, we couldn't do it without our helpers!
