Summer Art Camps
Capital Arts is pleased to announce the return of our summer camp program! This year we are offering 7 different week-long camps for kids of all ages. Our dedicated team of instructors are ready to guide your young artists as they explore a multitude of mediums to learn about art. Areas of study include art though history, STEAM, art explorers, and more!
Camps are held in the studios at Capital Arts. Sack lunches from home that do not need refrigeration are required. Capital Arts will provide healthy snacks and bottled water throughout the day. Water bottles are welcome.
June 13-17
"Art Explorers"
Ages: 6+
9:00am to 3:00pm | Max: 10 kids
Instructor: Brandi Rackers
Young artists will learn about various art forms and explore a wide range of mediums. Subjects include: Ceramics, Paper Mache, Watercolors, and more.


June 27-July 1
"Art Through History"
Ages: 4th-6th Grades
9:00am to 3:00pm | Max: 10 kids
Instructor: Ashley Kelley
The week-long camp is designed to familiarize Young Artists with some of the major periods in art history as well as expose them to various art mediums. The instructor will use art throughout history to teach big ideas and help young artists gain a deeper appreciation of art.

July 11-15
"Art Explorers"
Ages: 5-8
9:00am to 3:00pm | Max: 10 kids
Instructor: Lina Forrester
Young artists will learn about a variety of mediums in this week-long camp dedicated to the exploration of art. Each project has been carefully selected to ensure campers have fun while developing life skills, self-expression and creativity.


July 18-22
"STEAM: Art & Science"
Ages: 3rd-5th Grades
9:30am to 4:00pm | Max: 10 kids
Instructor: Ashley Kelley
Young artists will learn about various art forms through the integration of science and art. The instructor has carefully selected each STEAM-inspired project and lesson to promote creative thinking in the students.
August 8-12
