Pixel Palette Pop-Up

"Pixel Palette: A Showcase of Photography and Digital Art" invites you to explore the vibrant world where traditional photography techniques merge seamlessly with digital artistry.
Experience the beauty of high-definition photographs that capture fleeting moments frozen in time, alongside digitally manipulated artworks that push the boundaries of imagination. Through innovative techniques and creative expression, the artists featured in this show invite you to see the world through their lens, both literal and figurative.
Artists may submit up to 4 pieces of traditional photography or digital art. Must be framed and wired.

76th Annual High School Sketch Day
APR 25 - APR 27
Sketch Day invites high school students in and around Jefferson City to immerse themselves in a day dedicated to artistic expression. Transforming a school day into an art-focused adventure, students will spotlight our community's architecture while emphasizing the richness of local art education. Open to all high school students, this event, proudly presented by Capital Arts and the Historic City of Jefferson, provides illustration boards to inspire and showcase the vibrant talent within our talented youth. Join us in fostering creativity and celebrating our city's artistic spirit!

JCAC Adult Fine Art Exhibit

The Adult Fine Art Exhibit began in 1951 and is a competitive exhibition for professional and amateur artists, in their respective divisions. The largest exhibit of the year, shown at the Capital Arts Gallery.

Fiber Art Exhibit
JUNE 6 - JULY 6
This exhibition demonstrates the aesthetic and conceptual qualities of using various fiber media in making art including spinning, natural dyeing of fibers and fabric, weaving, quilting, knitting and much more.
NOTE: THIS IS A JURIED SHOW.
SUBMISSIONS WILL BE DUE BY MAY 1; ARTIST WILL BE NOTIFIED BY MAY 20 IF THEIR ARTWORK HAS BEEN ACCEPTED.

Discover the beauty and brutality of the natural world in this exhibit. Nature isn’t limited to trees and animals, but it also includes the seasons, precipitation, weather events, and a spiritual realm. Nature isn’t simply a part of the world we live in, but provides us with food, water, and air for life.
