MISSOURI BICENTENNIAL EXHIBITION

AUG 12 - SEPT 25

The Missouri Bicentennial Art Exhibit celebrates our 200 years as a state. Art should represent what the State of Missouri means to you in your preferred medium, 2 or 3 dimensional. This can be a literal or abstract expression. It does not have to be historical, though it can be. Artists of all ages are welcome to enter.

Drop off: August 9th  11am - 6pm 

Pick up: September 27th 11am - 6pm

JEFFERSON CITY ART CLUB
PROFESSIONAL EXHIBITION

SEPT 30 - NOV 6

The Jefferson City Art Club invites submissions from professional artists for this show. Professional artists may submit work in any medium for this show. The show follows the JC Art Club guidelines for submission.

GIVE THE GIFT OF ART
EXHIBITION

NOV 11 - DEC 24

Artists bring in work that is giftable just in time for the season of giving. Artwork may be completed in a variety of mediums, but the idea is to collect pieces that would make great gifts.

"LITERALLY ART"
EXHIBITION

JAN 6 - FEB 12

Literally Art is a celebration of artwork that is inspired by works of literature, whether that might be poetry, novels, comics, or any other literary medium. This show will highlight the nature of how art and literature connect and inspire each other.

"CHOOSE YOUR MUSE: REINTERPRETING FAMOUS ARTWORKS" EXHIBITION

FEB 17 - MAR 26

Choose Your Muse invites artists to put a twist on a piece of famous art, to change it to invite some whimsy, social critique, or change a famous work of art into something new. Artists are encouraged to choose a famous artist or artwork and to create something new.

Lincoln University and Jefferson City area high schools will submit work by graduating seniors for exhibition. This show will showcase the talents of young artists in our community.

HIGH SCHOOL SKETCH DAY

Sketch Day is a day for high school students to devote a day to making art in Jefferson City. Students use a school day to focus on their art around town, drawing attention to architecture and the great art education in our community.

This show invites artwork of imagination, dreams, and wonder. Submissions may include surrealist ideas, nightmares, or anything else that might lurk in the subconscious.
