Handbuilding-4 Week Course with Cheyanne

Service Description

This 4-week course is designed to give students a wide variety of hand building tools, techniques, and skills for creating one-of-a-kind ceramic artworks. Think outside the pottery wheel and learn to build and embellish using slabs, coils, slump molding, and pinched and sculpted elements. Students will choose from a variety of projects such as birdhouses, mugs, berry baskets, ceramic flowers, or just about anything they can dream up! Hand building is how ceramic artists take simple, basic pieces and transform them into fantastic, one-of-a-kind works of art. And best of all, anyone can do it! Those with experience on the wheel are welcome to use the wheels during this time and elaborate on those pieces with handbuilding techniques as well. There are only 6 spots per class!
