Service Description
A daily Wordless Diary practice can be a great way to meditate and achieve mindfulness. Just like with a regular diary, a Wordless Diary can benefit your life by helping you work through issues and emotions, or even vent, but the difference is in the name; this diary has no words. In this class you will learn a variety of intuitive methods, from scribbling to asemic writing, to use art as a way to learn more about yourself and the world around you. Students are encouraged to bring a blank sketchbook, one that has meaningful value, however a tiny tea toned zine will also be provided. Because of the need for simplicity in a Wordless Diary, students will only be working with ink pens (provided). Once you have established your Wordless Diary practice, students are then encouraged to join the Intuitive Art classes every other Saturday in order to learn new intuitive art methods and to acquaint themselves with fellow scribblers. Instructor: Lina Forrester Cost: $35 (materials included)
