Ben Nickelson

Ben Nickelson is a photographer from Jefferson City.  He is a graduate from the University of Missouri, Columbia with a degree in Fisheries and Wildlife and is currently attending William Woods University majoring in Graphic Design.  Ben’s love for photography grew from his experiences with nature and wildlife. He photographs natural subjects that are typically viewed as beautiful such as flowers, but has a particular appreciation for the less charismatic creatures such as reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates.  He uses his lens to share this appreciation with others. Another avenue of his expression is capturing images of everyday objects to be perceived in unique and interesting ways.
