Cuttlebone Cast Sterling Focal Form Class
•Sunday•, •September• 12 2010, 1:00pm - 4:00pm
Do you love the timeless beauty of a large singular sterling focal form on a cord or chain?  Every fashion-minded woman or man loves the look as this heavy, solid sterling form is seasonless, it looks great with a turtleneck, in the V of an open shirt, or on bare skin with a tanktop. Using the simple material of a cuttlebone, caged birds love it for sharpening their beaks, you will develop your own singular shape by carving or impressing into the split cuttlebone and filling the cut out with molten sterling silver in a casting technique to create a unique and highly textured form.  Check your regular jewelry store, this is a great price...ideal for yourself or to give as a gift.  Materials fee includes sterling, cuttlebone, tools and equipment use - $65 (subject to increase based upon the day's market price for sterling silver)     Contact instructor for more information or concerns.  Min of 4, max of 6.   Ages - 16+
